I was referred to 〈MSL〉by a colleague who had undergone a successful weight loss program. I was skeptical at first as I thought the dietary requirements would always leave me hungry.
My dietitian went through the menu with me at the beginning. I was surprised that the meals did not feel hungry at times but the portions were manageable. Throughout the entire program, My dietitian was attentive and would advise and help me adjust what I was eating to achieve my weight loss goals. A couple of weeks into the program, I added cardio training. Subsequently, I added strength training. Given that I work fairly long hours, I did most of my exercise during the weekend. Between the dietary goals and exercise, I was able to loss about 40 pounds over 7 months.
The most valuable of this program was that I learned to eat healthier food and have the confidence to manage my weight. If I gain a couple of pounds now, I am confidence that I can lose it again and know how to lose it. The exercise has helped toned my core. In the last month, I finally went shopping for clothes that would fit. Again, it was a nice feeling to wear sizes that I thought I would never again. Thanks to〈 MSL〉.
