This is a journey I should have started years ago, but as the saying goes, it is never too late!

Twelve months ago, I received a wakeup call from my doctor who told me that I was a perfect candidate for a stroke, a heart attack and that I ran a high risk of developing diabetes and high cholesterol, just to name a few conditions.

I already knew that I had a fatty liver and I accepted it as part of ageing. I weighed over 221 pounds. The alarm bells were beginning to ring out loud. My wife said it was time that I did something positive.

My life has taken a complete turnaround with as a result of the professional help from my nutritionist

of MSL. I am now able to do things I have never dreamed of doing such as scuba diving, kayaking, kick boxing, walking long distances and walking into a shop and buying clothes of the peg, instead of trying to fit into an XXL or stretching an XL. Sitting down on a beach or getting out of bed was a real challenge in the past but that has all changed.

As my weight dropped, my confidence began to improve and the aches and pains I experienced in my knee joints and back began to disappear. Dieting is not about starving yourself of food. To the contrary, it is about watching what you eat and at the same time, exercising. My weight now hovers around 153 to 155 pounds. Thank you my nutritionist and MSL for turning my life around for the better.
