改變飲食習慣及培養對運動的興趣，不但「三高」有所改善，身體的代謝也上升！更重要的是，對於糖尿病患者，運動更能提升細胞對脻島素的敏感度，令血糖控制更有效，從而降低因糖尿病誘發的慢性併發症 (如心臟病、腎病、眼睛或足部毛病等) ！
I have put on weight since I got married and have reached the highest record of 183 pounds last Christmas. All through these years, I tried hard to reduce my weight–cycling, running, eating less …basically every possible ways I could think or heard of. Time wasted; suffer from hunger; but still, all my trials were in vain.
Earlier this year warning signs shown from my routine body checks and this drove me to seek expertise assistance. As recommended by a friend, I jointed MSL’s “SD Weight Reduction Plan”. Frankly, at that time I doubted whether this would mean a miserable event and wondered if I could complete the 7-months body re-build.
There were ups and downs in my body weight during the period but generally the results were encouraging, I did not need to stay hungry; no pills; no pain; no surgical operation but delicious packaged “slim delight” meals. I could get asleep easier and longer but most of all less snoring. Everything went so smoothly except that I had to discipline myself for the daily assigned exercise.
Last month I had my blood test, HURRAY! My glucose level went straight down; hypertension controlled; cholesterol and triglycerides levels all returned to normal. I weight 38 pound less and my metabolic age is 13 years younger than I actually am! I feel the benefits of getting healthier to cope with my daily work. Colleagues and friends appraised me for my success and all a sudden I become a popular information provider on losing body mass.
